PR Guidelines

Please NOTE:

-Review “samples” must be full-sized products (not trial sizes), which allows for a comprehensive review. If trial sizes are sent, I will simply state that I did not receive enough product to justify a review.

-Please allow between two and four weeks for the review process. It is difficult for me to give my thoughts on a product only a few days after receiving it.

-I do not recycle press releases. I will publish my thoughts and experiences.

-I am not interested in products that need to be sent back. If for some reason a product needs to be returned, I will do so at the PR firm or sponsor’s expense.

-Providing a tracking number would be especially appreciated, as I can ensure that someone will be home to intercept the package, particularly if a signature is necessary.

-If we arrange a giveaway, I prefer that sponsors ship prizes directly to winners. I would also love having tracking numbers that I can relay to them as well.

-I mostly use Rafflecopter to run my giveaways. Note that the number of entries you see does not translate to the total number of likes/followers you will receive as a sponsor. Please understand that as long as your review remains on my site, you are receiving ongoing advertising as people continually use search engines to seek out opinions about products.

-I will only accept books that are “family friendly.” As an avid reader, I devour a variety of genres, though I hold a special place in my heart for Amish fiction. I am open to author interviews to help with exposure.

-I also use my blog as a platform to raise awareness and support charities. If your company supports a specific cause, I would be thrilled to accommodate this information.
