Arbor Mist Frozen Wine Cocktails #SSCheers

Man, these are delicious. I live next door to a winery and my favorite wine can go for about $15 per bottle. At only $1.99 per package (at least that’s what they sold them for locally), these Arbor Mist cocktails are a steal. I don’t drink very often, and I’m a big gal, so it surprised me that one pouch was good enough to give me the “buzz.” Flavors include Blackberry Merlot, Strawberry White Zinfandel & White Pear Pinot Grigio. It’s difficult to choose my favorite from the latter two.

Preparation is easy. Hopefully you’ll have a prettier serving glass than this plastic tumbler I used. I’ll definitely need to put wine glasses or margarita glasses on my shopping list. Store the bags in your freezer for about 4-5 hours. If you freeze them for any more than that, you’ll be kneading the bag or leaving it out for a bit to soften it up. I love the creamy consistency, but it was so thick, there was no way I could drink it out of a straw. My guess is that everyone is going to have their preference regarding the consistency, so experiment with it and freeze more or less according to your tastes.

It may also be too sweet for some. They are 6% alcohol, containing between 44-50g of sugar (which explains the calories)! If you’re on a weight management program, you may want to take a look at the label. The pouch alone can be meal.

Too bad they don’t serve those on airplanes, eh?

Disclosure: I was provided a sampler pack of Arbor Mist’s Frozen Wine Cocktails in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own!
