MyLife.com: Find Long-Lost Friends!

MyLife.com is pretty neat (or creepy, depending on how you look at it). While I was pregnant with my daughter, I found a childhood friend of mine on MySpace. We then connected on Facebook, talked on the phone, and then one day, she was gone. She took down all her social media accounts and didn’t notify anyone as to why. So I thought, anyway. When I visited my friend in Arizona, he told me that she was being stalked, so she decided to erase as much information about herself as possible.

Thanks to MyLife, I was able to find her again. I searched for her mom in the Chattanooga vicinity, found her, and with one simple phone call, I was able to get in touch with my friend again. We all thumb through old yearbooks, wondering what happened to our buds.

As a side note, I was also able to find my fiance’s father, but I don’t think he has any interest in being a part of our lives, so we won’t go there.

The cool part about MyLife.com is that you can see who’s been looking for you, whereas the other social media outlets do not offer that feature. Well, I take that back. Facebook has had some shady apps that profess that it’ll tell you and then you soon find that your account was hacked. Don’t do that.

I encourage you to give MyLife a try. If anything, you can at least see what information is provided about you on the internet so you can control your online presence.
