@Crayola Fans, Come Hither! #MyBlogSpark

I am a brand loyalist when it comes to Crayola. Recently, we went on a trip to the coast and had lunch at a family friendly restaurant. They handed my kiddo a cup of dollar store crayons and one of those place mats that you can color and do various activities on. Anyway, I was pretty amused when my fiance tried to color for about two seconds before pausing to say, “These are terrible!!”

Recently, they launched an incredible new product line that includes fabric markers, window markers, a dual-sided dry-erase board set, notebook, and wired index cards. The notebook and wired index cards come with a “magic” pen that creates all kinds of neat colors.

The fabric markers are actually pretty sweet. I put my daughter’s name on her backpack and all I had to do was throw it into the dryer for a spell to set the color. Think about all the t-shirt design possibilities. Makes me wish my fiance’s sister still lived nearby as I could use some of her talent!

I almost forgot about the sticky notes. My kiddo likes to run off with my post-it’s, so she was pretty excited to get some she could call her own. They’re not very big, which isn’t good for beginning writers who tend to write big, but I don’t think that bothers my kiddo as much as it bothers me.
