Mattel Polly Pocket Playset

My daughter is having an absolute blast with her Polly Pocket Playset. She hasn’t left it alone for more than a few minutes at a time. Heck, she could hardly wait for daddy to open the boxes for her!

She seemed to enjoy all the different ways she could decorate the little house. I tried to join in on the fun, but she got quite defensive and ordered me not to touch.

I had the mommy giggles because she had the toilet next to the stove on the bottom floor. It was also fun to see her hanging Polly upside down via the suction cups on her feet. I used to tease my daughter and tell her I’d hang her from the ceiling by her toes, so maybe that’s what inspired her to do it.

If you’re concerned about all those little pieces getting lost, don’t fret. The suction cups are great for holding items in place during transport. When you’re ready to remove Polly, remember to fasten your fingers around her feet so her shoes don’t slip off. They can be a little troublesome to put back on!

As a parent, I really like the add-on/convertible features of the Polly Pocket Playset. You can add on additional rooms in several different spots, ensuring that your children won’t get bored. I would imagine the add-on’s could be used for rewards or for taking the stress and guesswork out of future gift giving as well.

My kid is so attached to the playset that she had to take it out and play with it in the water this afternoon. Sure makes me wish she had a brother or sister to play with her! I was thinking about taking it to her friend’s birthday party this Sunday to share with the other moms, but maybe that’s a bad idea… There’s always another day.

She’s fast asleep now and has it carefully tucked against the side of her bed for safe-keeping.
