Faber-Castell #CreativityforKids Review and #Giveaway

We hit triple digit temps the other day and I know there are other parts of the country that are just as sizzlin’. My mom was lecturing me because my daughter was getting “too tan.” You can’t keep kids holed up all the time, but one thing is for certain: there’s no need for fair-skinned parents to turn into lobsters! I admit I can be a homebody and that means the kiddo is bouncing off the walls, waiting for a way to channel that beautiful energy into something…anything.

That’s where these kits come in.

Glitter can be pretty messy and no matter what precautions you take, it gets everywhere. I have it on my bed, my blankets, in my scalp… Yeah. Don’t turn your back on the kiddos for one second.

Here’s a sampling of the items we created! I made a boo-boo with my medal and it got smudged. I was so bummed, but we had a blast!

I had the most fun with the hair accessories because I never thought it could be that easy. Unfortunately, my child has no interest in having her hair tied, braided, or anything, so I wasn’t able to show off our creations. They’ll make great gifts for her friend, though. It just so happens that we are going to a birthday party on Sunday!

These miniature garden gnomes are adorable. The kit actually allows you to grow wheatgrass (seeds and watering spritzer provided) and, really, pretty much anything you want. You could turn this little tray into a flowering paradise if you really wanted. It’s very lightweight, so if you have cats that like to jump in your windowsill, prepare for it to go flying.
