Be Natural Organics

Acne is something I’ve struggled with since moving to the United States and, consequently, I’ve tried more than my fair share of products. When a friend of mine told me about Be Natural Organics, I had to contact them to do a review because I prefer to use products without sulfates and other toxins.

I read through Be Natural’s list of ingredients and found it to be very helpful and informative. I don’t think I have ever come across a site with explanations for every single ingredient. I had no idea glycolic acid was a fruit acid, especially considering the nasty effects I had the last time my friend’s father (a dermatologist no less) gave me a glycolic peel. I have also heard that using products containing AHA makes your skin more sensitive to sunlight, so that may be something you want to consider as well.

I was given samples of the acne-prone skin products. They were different from most products I’ve used because they are gels and liquids.

There are no strong scents and the balancing mist is amazingly refreshing in the crazy heat. I’d love a bottle of it for an after-workout or after-sauna spritz.

Unfortunately, I was not able to see any noticeable differences in my skin. However, everyone’s skincare needs are different and they do have samples you can order before you decide to purchase their full-sized products, so if you’re intrigued by Be Natural Organics and want to try something new, I would definitely recommend doing a test run with the samples.

All in all, the site was educational. I had never heard of skin brushing before and am curious to try that. In fact, I may just go do that right now…

Disclosure: I received samples of the acne-prone collection to facilitate my review. All opinions are my own.
