Moringa oleifera: Antioxidant-rich oil!

Acai berry was the craze last year and now, they’ve discovered something even better: Moringa oleifera. It contains over 90 nutrients, such as vitamins, proteins, and amino acids, making it viable for massage, skin care, and consumption. Dr. Oz recently featured it as a great source of energy and overall wellness.

The oil (for external use and not consumption) and body butter were very absorbent without being too oily and sticky. There is no overpowering scent and as their site says, “A good rule of thumb for healthy skin care is to not put anything on your skin that you wouldn’t eat.” Makes sense if you want to keep your skin free of chemicals and toxins.

Having struggled with acne for most of my adult life, I was very pleased to see that Moringa oil has been used to treat acne and other skin problems, so if you don’t plan to use it instead of your normal moisturizer, you can definitely create a sugar or salt scrub with it! It is far superior to the emu oil I’ve been using. If you’re looking for a nutrient-dense product, Moringa oleifera makes sense!

Disclosure: I was provided a sample in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
