AMF’s Summer Unplugged and Summer Pass
| May 30, 2012 | Filed under Deals |

Just because it’s getting up in the 90′s (or hotter in some places), doesn’t mean you have to sit inside. There’s plenty of stuff you can do such as mall walking, indoor climbing, and maybe even some bowling.
My grandmother was a trophy winning bowler, my parents were in some kind of bowling league and I remember playing a little as well. I think I just liked to tag along so I could play pinball at the bowling alley.
I went costume bowling once on a cosmo-bowling night and that was pretty sweet. I think the last time I bowled was in Arizona and we had gotten in trouble because we were throwing the ball down the wrong part of the lane (it was a dare, I swear) and one of the employees threatened to kick us out.
My fiance likes to get all technical and even had his own bowling ball he named Bob. It’s nothing special, but he picked it up at a yard sale. You know how it goes… It is annoying to not be able to find a ball that’s the perfect weight/size — and those custom-made ones can be pretty costly.
Speaking of cost…
With gas prices going up this summer, you are going to appreciate this. Are you aware that AMF is offering FREE bowling to kids until September 3rd? You can get a weekly free voucher for up to TWO games PER kid PER day (you pay the costs for shoe rentals).
If you want to take the whole fam, the AMF Summer Pass is only $29.95. At this price, you and three other family members that are ages 16 and up can bowl two games free per day, until 8pm, 7 days a week. SCORE.
